Following our cultural traditions, leaving a small footprint on Mother Earth is a priority for us.  Our founders made an early committment to explore and utilize as many alternative energy sources and conservation practices that are practical in our remote geographic location .

We welcome and have hosted students, researchers and “green thinkers" from around the world who want to study our model to learn what does and does not work in our part of the country.

Our workshops and extensive resource library offer educational opportunities for our community members to learn more about what they can do in their own homes or businesses.
